This internship at the North Queensland Rural Health Training Unit (NQRHTU) in Cairns was part of the subject Multimedia III in the Bachelor of Multimedia. I was involved in the development of training material for indigenous health workers and also had the opportunity to join my workmates on a trip to Weipa in Cape York to participate in the Croc Eisteddfod Festival 2000: an event to support indigenous youth with a career market and a huge dance festival. I filmed the event on DV tape and edited the footage. The movie was sent to the Hon. Mrs Wendy Edmond, Queensland Minister for Health.
