The Information Industries Bureau (IIB), part of the Queensland Department of Innovation and Information Economy, assists small to medium sized communication and information companies to develop their export potential and compete in global markets. IIB services range from providing practical business advice and information about opportunities in world markets to helping develop integrated marketing plans.

As part of my thesis "Backing up the Smart State: E-Security in Queensland's Small and Medium Enterprises", I conducted an online survey on e-security with in-kind support from the IIB as well as the Gold Coast City Council and Commerce Queensland.
