Kelsey Bricknell
Kelsey Bricknell is a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Creative and Professional Writing) undergraduate at Queensland University of Technology, Kelvin Grove. She expects to graduate at the end of 2011, obtaining her Bachelor along with minors in Creative Writing Advanced Practice and Literary and Cultural Theory. Prior to this degree, Kelsey completed two years of study in a Bachelor of Design (Interior Design) at the same university.
In the 2010/2011 summer break Kelsey worked alongside the Urban Informatics Research Lab and NICTA team at Queensland’s digital culture centre, The Edge. Her research allowed her to merge her interests in cultural theory and spatial design, combining the two with creative and analytical writing to examine how and why users were occupying the space.
Upon the completion of her undergraduate studies, Kelsey hopes to pursue these areas of study further, using her work at The Edge to form the basis of her Honors project.
