Fiona Crawford

Fiona Crawford is a freelance writer, editor, blogger, and proofreader with a variety of corporate and creative experience. with First Class Honours in Creative Writing, a postgraduate certificate in Writing, Editing, and Publishing, and five years running her own freelance writing business, Fiona combines her penchant for storytelling with a wealth of industry experience. Previous and current clients include: Sanity/Virgin/HMV; the Kelvin Grove Urban Village; the Queensland University of Technology; Rip Curl; Surf Dive ‘n Ski; and the State Library of Queensland. Her work has also appeared in Ultimate, Bookseller+Publisher, Peppermint, Detour, Jobmap, and Writing Queensland magazines.

She conducted photo research for Sharing stories: a social history of the Kelvin Grove Urban Village, which was published in 2006, and researched and wrote the apartment-dwelling personas for Urban Informatics in 2009.  Fiona also writes for premier football websites FourFourTwo and Goal.com, as well as for fanzine Half-Time Heroes, and has developed and run her own popular and well-received Football Fix blog for the past five years.
