QUT Creative Industries Research Showcase: Food and Human-Computer Interaction

6 May 2013: QUT Urban Informatics researcher Dr Jaz Choi is studying food and human-computer interaction in urban environments. Working with researchers from around the world, she looks at how people can be engaged through technology to eat, cook and grow food in environmentally sustainable, healthy and social-culturally inclusive ways.

 

QUT Creative Industries Research Showcase: Gelatine

21 March 2013: QUT Urban Informatics Lab researcher Mark Bilandzic’s ‘Gelatine’ project showcases how the physical space can be combined with digital space, and create a hybrid space that embodies affordances of both the digital and physical. His data visualisation system captures people’s interests, knowledge and activities at the State Library of Queensland’s The Edge and reflects them back to the physical space.
